ST. LOUIS, MO, April 7, 2014 -- French Gerleman ranks 119th in terms of revenue among privately held companies in St. Louis for 2013, according to the annual list of the Top 150 Privately Held Companies by the St. Louis Business Journal. The results were published in the March 28, 2014, edition.
Overall, total revenue for the companies on the list topped $108.1 billion, up from $101.2 the previous year according to the Business Journal. French Gerleman was one of the 76% on the list who reported revenue gains with revenues of $128.8 million in 2013, a 3.7% increase over the previous year. In addition, the company added 12 jobs in St. Louis and 17 companywide in 2013 and expects to add at least that number in 2014.
Per CEO Bill French, the company performed last year seeing modest growth in the industrial segment and more substantial growth in the construction segment. In 2014, the company is rearranging how it goes to market with products and operations to continue to refine efficiency, accuracy and thoroughness of its processes

The companies on this year’s list will be honored at a May 1 dinner at the World’s Fair Pavilion in Forest Park.
